Programs for Women
Our women’s programs and retreats offer a welcoming space to reconnect—with self, with one another, and with Allah. Through guided experiences, hands-on learning, and restful time outdoors, women are invited to explore their interests, embrace new adventures, and nourish their well-being in supportive company.
Art in Nature For Women
A creative outdoor series for women to slow down, connect with nature, and explore their artistic side in a peaceful, supportive setting.
Each workshop features a different art form:
• Floral Design
Create your own arrangement using fresh blooms and learn the basics of floral care.
• Brush Lettering
Learn modern calligraphy techniques using brush pens and take home your own creations.
• Islamic Geometric Art
Explore traditional geometric patterns inspired by Islamic design.
Join for one, two, or all three sessions.
Reflect, create, and reconnect—surrounded by the beauty of Burlington’s outdoors.
Voice and Presence For Women
A 4-part public speaking and confidence-building program designed for women who want to express themselves with clarity, ease, and authenticity.
In a supportive, women-only space, participants will:
• Strengthen their voice and presence
• Practice public speaking in low-pressure settings
• Learn techniques for breath control, body language, and voice projection
• Build tools to manage fear and anxiety around speaking
No experience needed. Come as you are, and grow with others doing the same.

Killarney Hiking Retreat
Spring 2023
Our staff and volunteers spent an inspiring weekend on a spring hiking retreat in Killarney, Ontario. Through fireside reflections, paddling adventures, and challenging hikes—including conquering “The Crack,” one of Ontario’s toughest trails—we deepened our connection with each other, nature, and Allah. Despite discomforts and downpours, the journey built resilience, confidence, and a renewed sense of faith.
