In the winter session, our Earth Explorers will advance in a mix of the following activities, with an Islamic perspective:
Outdoor Survival Skills: Tracking, snow shelters, natural fire skills, navigation, outdoor cooking
Bushcraft Projects: Knife/saw/axe skills, knots & lashing, woodcraft
Winter Snow & Ice Science
Nature Journaling and Nature Art
Literacy in Nature: Storytelling, songs, poetry, drama
Reflection: Mindful sit spots, outdoor salah, Quranic reflections, gratitude circles
Games: Team-building games, agility games, rope games, senses games, obstacle courses
Free play: in the forest and on the frozen creek
